3. License Grant

App Store License

When you download KubeDesk from the Mac App Store, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your macOS devices, subject to the terms of the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

Permitted Use

You may:

• Install and use KubeDesk on macOS devices that you own or control.
• Use KubeDesk for personal or commercial purposes to manage Kubernetes clusters.

Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App.
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
• Redistribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App.
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

4. Open Source Components

KubeDesk uses the following open source libraries and components:

• SwiftkubeClient - MIT License - Kubernetes API client for Swift
• Yams - MIT License - YAML parser for Swift

Full license texts for these components are available within the App (Settings → About → Open Source Licenses).

5. Helper Tool

KubeDesk includes an optional helper tool (kubedesk-helper) distributed via Homebrew:

• The helper tool is open source and available at: github.com/kubedeskpro/kubedesk-helper
• The helper is licensed separately under the MIT License.
• You may use, modify, and distribute the helper tool according to its license terms.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE APP OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE APP.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL KUBEDESK BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

8. Subscription Terms

Free Trial

KubeDesk offers a 2-week free trial for new users. After the trial period, a paid subscription is required to continue using the App.

Subscription Management

Subscriptions are managed through the Mac App Store and are subject to Apple's subscription terms:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
• No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period.

9. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and destroy all copies.

10. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which KubeDesk operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
